How it works

Furniture consignments are by appointment.

Decorative / Household accessories are by drop off during designated times below.

Furniture appointments: Provide us with photos of your items by email at furniture@greatfindsanddesign.com or stop by the store during normal business hours to show us the photos. In your email please include your name and phone number. Once we receive the photos we will work with you to coordinate the entire consignment process.

Household items, accessories and jewelry: Take advantage of our drop off days.

Drop off times (household accessories only):

Wednesday - Saturday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Length of consignment

All items are consigned for 120 days and will have 15% reductions after 30, 60 and 90 days. At the end of the 120 day contract GF&D reserves the right to apply further reductions.

Any item not retrieved by the consignor by end of day 120 becomes the SOLE PROPERTY OF GF&D. At this time all items may be sold as GF&D inventory. NO EXCEPTIONS.

This period of consignment begins when the item is first displayed on the showroom floor. The manner and timing of display is at the sole discretion of GF&D.

If you would like any items returned to you please be sure to contact us before the end of your contract.

Pricing

For Scheduled FURNITURE:
The consignor receives sixty (60%) percent of the agreed upon price for items $25 or more.
The consignor receives fifty (50%) percent of the agreed upon price for items less than $25.

For DECORATTIVE / Household Item Drop Offs:
The consignor receives fifty (50%) percent of amount reflected on your receipt. Don’t worry… We will research your items for the best pricing. Items will be inventoried at a later date.

NOTE: Pricing shown on the bar-coded inventory tags for every item in our store includes a fee for GF&D handling & service. This fee is added to all items, is paid by the buyer, and therefore does not affect the amount due to consignor.

Payment

Payment will be made on the last day of the month for the prior month’s sales. An administrative fee of $2.50 will be deducted from the net due to the consignor each check. If the amount due to the consignor is less than fifteen ($15) dollars, payment will be made once the amount due is over $15.

Although reasonable care is taken with all consigned merchandise, ITEMS ARE LEFT SOLELY AT THE CONSIGNOR’S RISK AND WITHOUT ANY LIABILITY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED TO GF&D.
